A Theatre with History
The Isaac Theatre Royal has a grand history in Christchurch. The theatre was built at its current site in 1908 and is the only operational Edwardian style theatre left in New Zealand.
The Theatre hosts a broad range of shows from classics, comedy shows, musicals to movie nights.
The atmosphere is truly unique with Edwardian architecture at its core and beautifully restored heritage features including the chandelier and breath-taking panted roof dome.
Keep up-to-date with what’s on at the theatre.
Why not make a night of it and enjoy the offerings of New Regent Street pre or post show!
