Everything from the sets to the costumes are designed and created in-house. The shows are produced exclusively for The Court's audience with some plays touring nationally and internationally.
The Court has something for everyone – debate provoking theatre, world-class drama to comedy at its finest. A Christchurch icon in the theatre world has to be "Scared Scriptless", improvisation at its best every Friday and Saturday night. This hilarious show will leave you doubled over in laughter!

Need a drink or something to eat?
If you have time before the show, grab a drink and a bite in the foyer of the theatre. BASE @ The Court serves delicious woodfired pizza. During the winter months there's mulled wine on the menu, the perfect way to warm up!
